Chiropractic Treatment
Chiropractors practice a drug-free, hands-on approach to healthcare that includes patient examination, diagnosis and treatment. Chiropractors commonly treat low back and neck pain, but are also trained to diagnose and treat ANY musculoskeletal condition, including muscle strains, tendonitis and joint sprains.
Physical Therapy
Physical therapists treat a variety of physical impairments and injuries, usually coupled with appropriate strengthening exercises. PT treatment commonly includes hands-on manual therapy, specific one-on-one exercises, patient education, soft tissue mobilization and other interventions specifically tailored to the patient’s needs.
Massage Therapy:
Sports massage is a particular kind of treatment designed to relieve tension and pain in the muscle and connective tissues (orfascia). Sports massage utilizes more pressure than a general massage, reaching down to tissues below the superficial layer of muscles, resulting in a deeper, more thorough treatment.
Graston Technique:
Graston Technique is an innovative form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables the clinician to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. The technique utilizes hand-held instruments to detect and treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation. Graston is used to treat any soft tissue injury, including muscle strains, joint/ligament sprains, tendonitis, repetitive use injuries (such as ITB syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, rotator cuff pathology) and post-surgical scar tissue debridement.
